- 11/01/03 - Felecia recently won the Federal Nursing Essay Award for 2003. All branches of the service and the VA submitted entries so this is quite prestigious. Hail the scribe!
- 07/24/03 - Herbert recently returned from a vacation that included stops in Germany, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Check out his photo gallery.
- 07/20/03 - Thruðheim Kindred announces the marriage of Make and Jada. The couple was married on Sunday (July 20, 2003) at Norris Dam State Park in a traditional Asatru ceremony. Congratulations to the happy couple!

- 06/01/03 - Cliff has been named Troth Steward for Tennessee. He is well-suited to represent Asatru in our state.
- 05/04/03 - Felecia graduated with a master's degree from UT Chattanooga (It's officially an M.S.N. in Nursing: Education). Not only did she successfully attain her master's degree, she graduated Summa Cum Laude! Congratulations to Felecia!

- 06/01/01 - Thruðheim Kindred was well represented at Trothmoot 2001 in southern Indiana. Attending were Bernhard, Beth, Laurel, and Steve along with friends Ted and Beth. View the photos.

- 08/26/00 - Steve and Make represented Thruðheim at the CIAK gathering in southern Alabama.
- 06/03/00 - Several members of Thruðheim Kindred attended Trothmoot 2000 in southern Indiana. In attendance were Bernhard, Brian, Cliff, and Make. View the photos.
- 04/29/00 - Tracy and Steve announced their betrothal today. Wedding plans are still in the making. Congratulations to the couple!
- 02/19/00 - Some of the kindred participated in the second KAPOW cleanup of Central Avenue in Knoxville.
- 11/22/99 - Cliff and Elise announced the birth of their daughter Summer
today. Mother and daughter are doing fine. Welcome to Midgard Summer!
- 10/16/99 - Cliff received his Goði credentials from the American Vinland
Association. He is now officially a Minister of the Northern Tradition.

- 10/02/99 - Members from Thruðheim Kindred participated in the KAPOW Adopt a
Highway cleanup effort. A two-mile section of Central Avenue between Callahan
and Emory was the location. Over a dozen volunteers spent three hours collecting
trash.
- 09/25/99 - Asatruar from Gulinkar Goðorð (Nashville) and Thruðheim Kindred agreed in
principle to form a Tennessee Asatru Council. Details will be worked out in the
months to come.
- 09/19/99 - Several of the kindred attended an inter-faith event sponsored by
KAPOW called Tradition Sharing. Cliff spoke to the group about Asatru.
The event was held at Tyson Park in Knoxville.
- 09/01/99 - Bernhard gave a short lecture about Asatru to the UT alternative
religions special interest group called Eclypse.
- 06/18/99 - As part of the effort to reach out to the rest of the pagan
community, Bernhard attended a KAPOW business meeting. KAPOW stands for
Knoxville Area Pagans and Wiccans and is a nonsectarian organization which exists to
support the pagan community. Several of those attending expressed an interest in
learning more about Asatru and the kindred.
- 11/15/98 - Elise and Cliff attended the Nashville Spiritual Community's service
on Sunday, November 15, 1998, led by their pastor, Lesley Hall. You might
remember Lesley from the Seiðh session on Winter Nights. She had asked
Cliff to come to her center, which has Unitarian Universalist
connections, and deliver a talk on Asatru. Cliff spoke for a half hour
to a group of about 20 Nashvillians and their children. All in all, it went
well - a meeting of two cultures striving to learn more from one another
and live together peacefully.
